These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Namma Kannada website and app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (and have parental consent if under 18).
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to verify your email address when asked.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
- Share, resell, or scrape our content without permission.
- Submit offensive, infringing, or misleading content to the AI Guru or elsewhere.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Subscriptions & billing
- We offer a free tier and paid plans (Pro and Guru). Prices are shown on our Pricing page and are in Indian Rupees (INR), inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Paid plans are billed for the stated period. Access to premium features is granted immediately on successful payment.
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. By subscribing, you also agree to Razorpay’s terms.
- Subscriptions are non-refundable; cancellation is governed by our Cancellation Policy.
4. Content & intellectual property
All content in the Service — lessons, scenarios, audio, graphics, branding, and software — is owned by Namma Kannada or its licensors and is protected by law. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own learning. You retain ownership of content you submit, and grant us a licence to use it to operate and improve the Service.
5. AI Guru
The AI Guru provides language help generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate. It is a learning aid, not a substitute for professional translation or advice. Please use judgement, especially in important situations.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be fully accurate. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Namma Kannada shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
